Department's Objectives

To help each student to make the most of her ability and to enhance each student quality of learning;

To ensure that the department contributes to the general education of every student for whom it has responsibility;

To keep abreast of developments of teaching techniques and the impact of new technologies in the subject, and to introduce them into the department as appropriate.

To provide students with advice on Higher Education courses and to maintain links with universities as appropriate;

Here in Marian Girls High Schools, my roles are to develop curricula, to set academic standards, and to work with heads of department to ensure that those standards are met.

In additional to that, I am also help to design some ways to engage students in and out of the classroom. Additionally, I ensure that the academic strategies comply with NECTA and Tanzanian regulations.
